Locking up your office for your hard-earned vacation? CEO Jon Lober offers his top tips for more secure travel.


  1. Secure your connections. Use a VPN to keep your online activity safe from prying eyes.
  2. Update your devices. Make sure you have the latest security patches installed.
  3. Remember your passwords. Make strong, unique passwords and use 2FA for best protection.
  4. Beware phishing attempts. Be skeptical of offers that seem to good to be true.
  5. Keep an eye on your devices. If you need to leave a device behind, lock it in the hotel safe.
  6. Keep your travel plans to yourself. Share your vacation pictures after you return.
  7. Avoid public computers. These computers are often lax on security making you an easy target for cybercrime.
