Why NOC?
We are not the biggest MSP in St. Louis, but we are the one that understands your business.
There are a lot of IT companies in the St. Louis market. National firms with offices everywhere. Regional MSPs with impressive client counts. Small shops with a technician and a truck. They all have websites that say some version of the same thing: fast response, proactive support, cybersecurity, cloud.
We are not going to pretend those words mean nothing when we say them. But we are going to tell you what actually makes NOC different from the rest of the market. No vague promises. No marketing fluff. Just the things we do differently and why they matter to your business.
We are business consultants who happen to be technology experts. It's not a tagline; it's how we operate.
We start with your business,
not your technology.
Most MSPs begin the relationship with a network assessment. They scan your systems, find problems, hand you a report, and use it to justify a proposal. That is not how we start.
We start by asking how your business works. How do you make money? What does your team do every day? Where do they lose time? What are you building toward in the next two or three years? What would happen if your most critical system went offline tomorrow?
We ask these questions because they shape every decision we make on your behalf. The monitoring rules we set up. The security layers we deploy. The recommendations we make at quarterly reviews. If we do not understand your business, we are just managing hardware. That is not the job.
We measure success differently.
Most MSPs measure success by how fast they respond when something breaks. We measure success by how rarely things break. We call this Silent Success: the idea that when IT is working the way it should, you forget it exists.
Our proactive monitoring runs 24/7. It catches issues before they become outages. Over half of the problems we resolve are identified and fixed before anyone on your team even knows they existed. We track this. We report on it. And we hold ourselves accountable to it.
When technology works so seamlessly that it disappears from your daily concerns, that is when we know we are doing our job.
Not when we close a ticket fast. But rather, when you never even had to open one.
We serve the industries that matter to the St. Louis region.
We publish our pricing.
This is rare in the MSP world, and we think that is a problem. Most IT providers will not tell you what they charge until you sit through a discovery call, a network assessment, and a proposal presentation. By the time you see a number, you have invested hours and feel pressure to say yes.
We think you should know what IT support costs before you commit to a conversation. That is why we built our online price estimator. It covers managed IT, cybersecurity, VoIP, cloud, consulting, and AI and process automation. Takes about two minutes; no sales call required.
We are local, independent, and not going anywhere.
NOC Technology is headquartered in Washington, MO. We have been here since 2009. We are not a franchise. We are not backed by private equity. We are not part of a national roll-up where your account gets shuffled between offices.
The person who runs NOC lives in Franklin County, is involved in our local community, and runs our annual Smash the Stigma mental health awareness fundraiser right here in town. The decisions we make are based on what is right for our clients, not what a board of directors or investor group wants to hear.
That matters because the MSP industry has been consolidating aggressively. Private equity firms have been buying up small and mid-size IT companies, merging them, cutting staff, and raising prices. If your provider gets acquired, you often find out after the fact when your point of contact changes, your service level drops, and your bill goes up.
We are not for sale. We are building a company we are proud of, serving businesses we care about, in a community we are part of.
Don't take our word for it.
We can tell you we are great all day. But you should hear it from the people who actually work with us.
Ready to see if we are the right fit?
No pitch deck. No pressure. No 90-minute sales presentation. Just a conversation about your business, where technology is helping or hurting, and whether we might be the right partner.
Try our online price estimator for a quick ballpark. Or talk to an expert to start the conversation. We will ask about your business first. That is how every relationship starts with NOC.
